Boy Scouts of America Troop 188 has been in existence for over 45 years, providing boys in the Rochester, Rochester Hills, Troy and surrounding communities with a Scouting program of character development and values-based leadership training. The Troop is chartered by University Presbyterian Church, and is a member of the Ojibwa District of the Clinton Valley Council.
We are a boy-led troop -- our meetings and activities planned and conducted by the boys themselves, with advice and oversight from the adult leaders. This focus on leadership and responsiblitity has allowed the Troop to develop over 75 Eagle Scouts. We have an active program of camping, community service, and training, and welcome boys from ages 11 to 17 to join the Troop.
